Ugly stepsister WND

It's just incredible. There's "Tuesday Afternoon, "Thank God It's Friday" (from "The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh"), "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "I Hate Mondays," "Just Another Manic Monday" "Monday, Monday" -- where in tarnation are the songs about WEDNESDAY?! I mean, who exactly did Monday have to sleep with to get all that recognition?

And so, we have decided to challenge the creatives among you to pen a theme song for our beloved day. Using the huge wnd endowment (nonexistent), we're hoping to inspire one of you to write the "It's Raining Men" of the new millennium.

I tried myself, but couldn't come up with a winner:
-"When's Wednesday, Wendy?" which, despite what you may think, even with lots and lots of alliterations, really sucked.
-"Why don't we pronounce the "D" in Wednesday or even the second "E", or is it strangely inverted like in Brett Favre, and if so why." Not... so... catchy.
-"It's a beautiful Wednesday!" before U2 sort of screwed that one up for me.
