Yup, I kin remem'er back in the day, when I was, oh, knee-high to a radish I guess. Golly, me an' my pallies ("the good ol' boys"), well we'd just' abou' join ourselves up t'gether fo' a little thang we used to call "Wenny Ni' Drink." I reck'n we was too bashful back then tuh think 'bout addin' a li'l ol' "s" on the end and makin' it "Drinks." See, was in the days afore 'computers ev'rywhere an' people goin' crazy with typin' all those letters an' all. We used a lot mor' apostr'phes back then too. 'Yu'p. Why, I can remembuh drinkin' a nice col' one and sayin' to an ol' Yankee friend of mine: "If'n we had 'a be'en hug'a by 'da st'e'a'''''''''k, whe'r'e'd boo'oa Michael Bolton?" Yeah, lotsa' gibberish back then, but we made it through. An' to celebrate... drinks are back!
